Well about the integer I pretty must understand very well now.

This part I dont quite get you "If you are not partitioning on one of these fields: (`receiptID`,`outletID`), you will have not way to enforce the UNIQUEness of that tuple, except by your code." Well I would prefer to partition mainly by month so I keep anything more then 3 month into archive storage.

What do you mean by Adding a million values declared double(10,2) together is likely to be off by a few cents.

I am still studying your mini tutorial which is very useful many thanks for that. So when you "sumarry of tables" are you saying that I must run some kind of services to summarize into this tables right?
