Unicode searching with MYSQL

Hi;
My applications use multiple languages and some languages like Turkish has special characters like "ö,ü,ş,ç". Registered users might enter their name and surname like "Timur Öztürk". Whenever I search for surname "Ozturk" MYSQL should find "Öztürk" too. Shortly it should replace "ö->o,ü->u,ş->s,ç->c" and so on.
In facebook there is such method.
How can I do the same?
