It seems that when I select a VARCHAR(256) as a data type for my field the datatype is changed to TEXT the next time I open up the Table Editor but when I use the TEXT datatype straight away it turns into a BLOB datatype.
So, my problem is fixed but can someone tell me why a VARCHAR(256) is turned into a TEXT datatype???
