COULD NOT EXECUTE SELECT STATEMENT

hello everybody,

i have a small problem. select statement in mysql server, is not displaying the output.

i have the mysql version 5.0.12-beta.

when i execute a select statement in the 'mysql command line client', it is displaying the output as usual. but when i execute the same in the query browser, then there is no output.

i will be much pleased if anybody suggest me the solution for this issue.
