Simply Uninstall MySQL which is installed..

After uninstall remove all the folders created after installing MySQL.
In my computer I have deleted the following folders which were created by MySQL.

*NOTE: If WAMP server is installed , please uninstall it,before proceeding with the following steps. (in Linux it will be LAMP server, uninstall it in Linux).

1) C:\Program Files\MySQL
2) C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\MySQL
3) Now restart the system.

NOTE: Make sure that the port "3306" is free before installation. Which is the default port for MySQL. If it is not free then while installation you can choose
other port number, here again that port must be free.

4) Now make a fresh Installation.

Any queries, welcome to email.

Regards
