Hi,
Excellent fix, thanks. As an aside, after running all of these changes, if you then get an 10061 error (as I did), it was necessary to uninstall, back up the hacked MySQLInstanceConfig.exe, delete all folders left behind, reinstall, then copy the changed Config file back into the bin folder and finally run the configuration again.
