This is the log file that was generated at the end of a failed start, yes.

The final log file which was the final time the MySQL service was stopped and never restarted again (i.e. when the problem began is here):

120511 15:26:36 [Note] C:\Program Files\MySQL\MySQL Server 5.5\bin\mysqld: Normal shutdown

120511 15:26:36 [Note] Event Scheduler: Purging the queue. 0 events

120511 15:26:44 [Note] C:\Program Files\MySQL\MySQL Server 5.5\bin\mysqld: Shutdown complete

After this, it wouldn't restart again.

Is there a way I can generate another log file you need?

I appreciate you helping me with this.
