Well barry you got me into my mysql yesterday but it just now failed to get me in with your code of >mysql -u root -p. What could be the problem this time??
Note that I didn't enter a password.
"c:\mysql-5.6.13-winx64\bin>mysql -u root -p
Enter password:
ERROR 2003 (HY000): Can't connect to MySQL server on 'localhost' (10061)"
