sha256_password cannot be loaded
Hi everyone,
I'm running Ubuntu 12.10 and SQL Workbench 6.0.7 using the clibtemplate0 library that isn't supported anymore. I've been trying to use both workbench and mysql -h hostname to connect to a remote DB, but I always get the following error:
ERROR 2059 (HY000): Authentication plugin 'sha256_password' cannot be loaded: /usr/lib/mysql/plugin/sha256_password.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Any idea what's going on? I checked /usr/lib/mysql/plugin for the file, but it's not there, but isn't it supposed to come with all versions of SQL Workbench post 5.6?
