There's something not right about your ping response.

It should give myhpcomputer 127.0.0.1 or ::1, rather than 192.168.0.2

Have you checked your hosts file?
On windows it's at c:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts

On Windows before Win7 you should have a line like this 
	127.0.0.1       localhost
On Windows 7 localhost is resolved internally and the hosts file is not used so that line is commented out.
