Hello,
I am using MySQL since a couple of years and I never Wonder about filesize.
I now Wonder about performances of my server and tried to look deeper in the settins. But I am not sure to understand the different files used by the MySQL server....
Under the data directory I have folders of all my database, for about 2Gb of files.
But I have also another folder called MySQLDatafiles where there is only 1 file ibdata1 over 75Gb !
I do not think to have 75Gb of data in my tables.
Can anyone explain me what is this big file?
Should I optimize it?

Rgds,
Cedric
