system intallation problems
Hi everyone:
I have been trying to download the sql community server and cannot get the software to work properly. My local computer people are in the dark about this and I have been getting nothing but disinformation from them on this issue. I have High Severity Error, Root Element is Missing. This is followed by another High Severity Error. Log file must be defined before calling the Write to log method. I am a novice with this and so I am at my wits end. I have not been able to get this to work despite numerous uninstalls and re-installs of the community server. Please Help. I have never had this much trouble with computers before. Any suggestions would be most helpful at this point.
