Hi

I've installed MySQL 5.6.21 on my system (runnning Yosemite) using the dmg. It seems to have installed two folders within /usr/local, one is mysql and the other mysql-5.6.21-osx10.8-x86_64, both with the same folder structures and files. Is this right? I've added /usr/local/mysql/bin to the $PATH variable but I'm still getting -bash: mysql: command not found. If I try /usr/local/mysql/bin/mysql then I am getting

ERROR 2002 (HY000): Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/tmp/mysql.sock' (2)

Could someone please help?
