Thanks, glad I'm not alone =) I got it to install successfully on a different machine, but still no luck on my first machine. You're right, if I knew what XML file it was referencing, seems like I could make it work. But there are no XMLs unpacked from the .msi, so.....yeah.

Let me know if you have any luck. I also logged a bug with the MySQL folks if you want to reference:
