I don't think you actually read my response. As I said there, your hardware requirements depend on what you intend to do with MySQL.

There's not really any absolute minimum hardware requirement for the MySQL software itself--I can compile from source, install, and run MySQL 5.6 on an 8-years-old laptop with a 32-bit 1.6 GHz Celeron-M and 2 GB RAM. Of course, this setup is not really good for anything but testing with relatively small datasets, but the software does in fact run there. :)

If you are not willing to discuss your use case, we can't really offer any recommendations.
