Yes, you'll want the RHEL 6/OL 6 packages. You might want to download one of the RPM bundles which contain all the RPMs needed to install the MySQL server and client. Choose 32-bit if your system runs a 32-bit OS; if your OS is 64-bit there's no reason not to use the 64-bit version of MySQL.

We also have YUM repos compatible with recent versions of RHEL, OL, and Fedora, which can make things simpler.

Detailed installation instructions for MySQL on Linux can be found here. You should read through the appropriate section(s) of this before performing the installation.
