These installation questions belong in the install section, I'm moving them there.
I don't know enough about Python installation to help you with it.

The MySQL installer will configure MySQL for you. You shouldn't need to do anything manually. If you got too busy at some point in the installation and misdirected the installer, it might be best to uninstall the whole thing, start again, and let it do its thing.
