I was just lucky i solved it, thanks for your reply i greatly appreciated it. The problem was in the installation of the mysql server on my computer since as a beginner i relied on the default/their recommedation on the installation process. I think i choose the complete installation though it says it will use much memory but i dont care as long as my mysql database i running with my asp.

But you know why i use asp instead of php. It's because i can't configure it properly and nobody is lending a hand when i ask for their little help on php/mysql forums.
