I've used a few different modeling tools on moderately complex databases (XCase, DeZign, DBDesigner), and never felt the need to have relationship lines connect at the point of the related field. Fieldnames, combined with a FK designator for the field have always been sufficient.

Appreciate the work on Workbench.
