Hi,
the first alpha version of the MySQL Workbench has been released.
MySQL Workbench 1.0.1 Alpha Release Notes
----------------------------------------------------
An overwhelming number of people have been expecting this day to get the first look at the upcoming MySQL Workbench. The MySQL GUI team has been working very hard the last months to get the core features ready and I would like to thank all my team members.
Although we are pretty much excited about this release we hope you realize that this is just the very first alpha version of the tool. That means that this release is far from feature complete and might include a lot of bugs that we will fix in the weeks to come.
We are trying to follow the release-early-release-often principle and therefore we want to share our first major step with our community. This is the first version ever build, also inside the company.
Please share your comments and thoughts on the forum and also please report bugs as soon as we have set up the proper catagory at bugs.mysql.com.
