High RAM usage
To start off I am an IT guy in a small company, so i have to wear many hats. Some of the hats are quite big, but i am learning many different aspects of a companies IT infrastructre. With that being said here is the issue i am running into...
I have MySQL version 4.1.14-nt running on a windows 2003 server with 2GB of RAM. I have been rebooting the server ever saturday because by the time saturday rolls around MySQL is taking up approx. 1.5GB of the total 2.0GB of RAM. I check the RAM usage daily and MySQL is pretty low early in the week, but gradually gets to the point where i have to restart the service and/or server.
Any tips/tools/hints or funny jokes are greatly appreciated.
