Hi John,

This message is caused from selinux or apparmor. I had a UDF that I have been using for years and after an upgrade to Ubuntu 9.10 it quit. After about an hour of scratching my head I found it was apparmor. I'm not familiar with apparmor and after a quick guess couldn't get it configured correctly to work, so I just shut it down

/etc/init.d/apparmor stop

Loaded the UDFs and then restarted it and it seems to work. If I had more problems, I'll go back and try to configure it properly :)
