ohh my OS is centos ver 5

create function sys_exec returns int soname 'lib_mysqludf_sys.so';
(0 row(s)affected)
(0 ms taken)

select sys_exec("'hello world' >/home/brianc/test.txt");
Error Code : 1305
FUNCTION mysql.sys_exec does not exist
(0 ms taken)

drop function if exists sys_exec;
(0 row(s)affected)
(0 ms taken)

Yeah and I disabled the selinux options, and stored it in /usr/lib\
