Event scheduler damaged

Hello,

I want to ask you for some help. I was working with events some weeks ago but suddenly it didn't work again.
I can see the table events in information_schema but I can't access to it: Cannot proceed because system tables used by Event Scheduler were found damaged at server start.

If I check the table events, the error says: File: 'C\Windows\TEMP\#sql_98_0.frm' not found (errcode 2)

I tried to repair the table with the repair command but it says that root'@'localhost doesn't have permissions to access to information_schema database (altough I have all the permissions asigned for the root).

Please, if someone can help me...

Regards,
