BLOBs and TEXT to and from LAN- Servers
Why isn't it possible to upload and download e.g. BLOBs in a LAN ? When server and client reside on the same machine, everything works well, via INSERT ... LOADFILE() and SELECT ... INTO DUMPFILE().
But in most cases the server is not to reach. Therefore there should be a script to solve the problem. It's the client's problem, that has to parse the script first.
I do like the MySQL Query Browser very much. The improvement of this tool would be an enhancement. Who does it ?
