Re: How can I translate the Doc to other language?

Thanks for volunteering to do a translation of MySQL documentation!

I can't currently say how this will be handled at Oracle. If we'll continue using the same processes I could set up a CTI project (CTI = Community Translation Interface, a browser-based tool) for any new language.

What part of the documentation would you like to translate? Please note that the MySQL Reference Manual (for version 5.1 and newer versions) has about 1 million words, so there's no way to get this completed in your lifetime unless you have a team of volunteers who could help.

Translating other documentation, such as the MySQL Workbench manual, might be a better choice. I've just checked; the current word count is 56,785.
