Table setup for software

I want to create a database that stores the names and versions of software from the machines on my network.

Each machine could have anywhere from 20 to 400 applications installed so I don't think it would be possible or proper to create a table for every piece of software. So I'm assuming that somehow I would need to dump all the data into a single table. However not sure how to properly query exact names and versions if I did that.

Here is an example of the possible data.

   APPLICATION     PATH     VERSION      PUBLISHER

Acrobat Distiller C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Acrobat 7.0\Distillr\AcroDist.exe 7.0.7.142 Adobe Systems Incorporated.
Acronis True Image TrueImage N/A Acronis
ActivePerl 5.8.6 Build 811 {E3411538-C3EE-4F51-915A-4C369ABEE040} 5.8.811 ActiveState
Address Book C:\Program Files\Outlook Express\wab.exe 6.0.3790.1830 Microsoft Corporation
Adobe Acrobat 7.0 Professional {AC76BA86-1033-0000-7760-000000000002} 7.0.8 Adobe Systems
Adobe Acrobat 7.0 C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Acrobat 7.0\Acrobat\Acrobat.exe 7.0.8.218 Adobe Systems Incorporated
Adobe Acrobat 7.0 C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Acrobat 7.0\Acrobat\AcrobatInfo.exe 7.0.8.218 Adobe Systems Incorporated
Adobe Bridge 1.0 {B74D4E10-6884-0000-0000-000000000103} 001.000.003 Adobe Systems
Adobe Bridge C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Bridge\Bridge.exe 1.0.3.107 Adobe Systems, Inc.
Adobe Common File Installer {8EDBA74D-0686-4C99-BFDD-F894678E5B39} 1.00.0000 Adobe System Incorporated
Adobe Creative Suite 2 {0134A1A1-C283-4A47-91A1-92F19F960372} N/A N/A
Adobe Designer C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Acrobat 7.0\Designer 7.0\FormDesigner.exe 7.0.41126.0 Adobe Systems Incorporated

What is the best method to store this data and then query for specific data.
The database would need to potentially store this data for up to 5,000+ machines.

Thanks

Ron
