Hi Rick,

I apologize that I am only seeing your response. Thank you for taking the time to respond. First thing that I didn't make clear is that I do NOT have a DW right now. I am attempting to design it and that is why I was asking those questions. The tables I mentioned are from the Source database that will feed into the data warehouse. That being said, my main question is should I have a transaction dimension table? After reading more and viewing your posts I am considering having these dimension tables:

- Date
- User
- Affiliate
- Transaction

The Fact table will be the four keys from the dimension tables and just have amount as the field in the fact table. The transaction dimension table will have the transaction type and the user dimension will have the current user_level.

Does that sound correct?
