plan A is out if the question...I will go for Peter's advice-use a flag.
The only thing that must be considered also is what to do with the table that holds the services chosen for a specific appointment.
Use a flag too also there?
if for example an appointments has 3 services associated with it,that means use same flag on these 3 rows.
I do not know if there is an efficiency problem here.
