dealing with more than one borrower on a single loan app

i need to wrap my head around the relationship (1to1,manytomany,1tomany) in my situation.

i have a borrowers that can have multiple properties, and each property can have multiple loans(usually a max of 2), and each loan can belong to one or more borrowers.

my question is how do i link say a husband and wife on a single loan. do i created a loan that links to the borrower, or the borrower to the loan.

as well, a borrower can be a spouse, but one of the spouses can have a loan by themselves.

i am sure i just confused the heck out of whoever reads this. but i am also confused.

i guess what i am saying is this.

a borrower can have a spouse
a borrower can have more than one property
a property can have more than one loan (1st , 2nd)
a loan can have more than one borrower, not necessarily a spouse, jsut a bunch of individual investors.
