Mysql + liferay

ciao a tutti.
Vorrei chiedere un consiglio a chi ha certamente più esperienza di me su MySQL.
Ho installato su una macchina Centos: Liferay 5.2.3, mysql administrator ( la versione per redhat 4) non ho installato MySQL perchè la centos me lo dà di defaul!
Dalla console di mysql administrator ho creato lo schema di liferay e un nuovo utente liferay, ho assegnato i "privileges" a questo nuovo utente liferay, ma adesso? che devo fare?
C'è una guida di mysql che può spiegarmi come fare?
C'è una guida di Liferay che dà delle indicazioni, ma in merito a Mysql non considerando l'esistenza di mysql administrator.
Come procedo?
