ODBC error MySql

Se provo a collegare delle tabelle di MySql in Access 2007, tramite ODBC vers. 5.2.6. e 5.1.13, mi restituisce errore 3146.
Premetto che quando configuro il DSN non ho nessun problema.
IL S.O. è Windows 7 64 bit, e il driver è per 64 bit.
IL problema si presenta sia con MySql installato in locale che se è installato su server di rete linux.
