is it possible to delete or update from mutiple tables in single query

Hello Experts,

I am new to Mysql and want to discuss my problem here,i think this is right place to get solution of my problem,

I got a scenario for database manuplation in which i need to make updation/deletion from multiple tables in a sigle query, i used to make same functionality by individual quries previously but it is neccessary now to make deletion and updation in sigle query

Please let me know your experince about this,Thanks
