Virtualised Scalable HA MySQL on Solaris

Hi,

This is a bit of a newbie question as I don't have extensive MySQL or Solaris experience.

Solaris Cluster with the MySQL Data Service Agent is the obvious option for HA on Solaris but I'm little unclear on the details. Firstly, the MySQL Data Service Agent is failover only, and therefore not scalable. In this case how do you go about setting up multiple slaves?

Also, what are the replication options on Solaris? Finding documentation on this subject is proving difficult. There's a lot of information on DRDB, but it's linux only.

The headache of trying to identify, let alone work out which route to go down is pushing me towards a solution like Tungsten from Continuent. However, if at all possible I would like to use freely available Open Source components.
