MySQL-proxy: dynamically reconfigure MySQL server pool

Hi Guys,

Basically, I want to perform some load-balancing for incoming transactions (oltp workload) to varying set of MySQL server.

I know that MySQL-proxy can provide simple load-balancing [2]. I want to reconfigure the pool of MySQL servers dynamically. It seems that it is not yet available: "...it is on the list. We are working on a administration interface for that purpose." [1]

I wonder what is the status of this?

This feature is critical to my doctoral research.

Thanks
