Thank you for the suggestion. However, changes to comparability settings did not fix the problem. Still crashes on startup.

Tried setting:

[*] Disable Visual Themes

[*] Run the program in comparability mode for
<Windows XP (Service Pack 2)>

Also tried combining the settings. No combination worked.
