Yes. That simply changes the default number of tiles available to work with
inside of workbench. Unfortunately when one goes to print out the model,
workbench assumes it is going to hit a local printer stocked with American Letter
size paper (8.5"x11") and chops up the diagram.

I've located several vendors that will accept a PDF file and print it to pages as
big as 24"x36" (basically, a single image encompassing 6 Letter size images).

And yes, even if I set the diagram properties and size to 1x1 .. it still tries
to print to 8.5x11 .. guessing the dimensions are hard coded into the PDF export
section of the code.

And yes I've tried down loading the source .. but so far can't figure out the
right lua package to install.
