Rémi, Steven,

if the error message is still the msvcr100.dll is missing then it is just that - missing. Something with the installation has failed then. Check your Windows system folder if you see that dll there.

And Steve, I did not say to *un* install the runtime. Of course you must *install* it to have that dll ready. The least friction appears when using the MySQL Installer as it checks if a prerequisite is missing. If the does not tell you that something is missing and WB still does not start then there must be another bug which requires deeper inspections. Hence we need a bug report from you (http://bugs.mysql.com).
