Steve, a bug report is not give you answers. In fact the opposite is true, we need answers from you. This is without doubts inconvenient, but there's no other way to find out what's wrong in your case.

And don't start installing applications in another folder than your Programs folder. The workbench folder you mentioned in another posting here is where WB stores its settings, connections etc. You can try renaming/removing it to see if WB starts up successfully then. The folder will automatically be recreated.

Btw: this entire thread doesn't seem to be about installing WB as you say, but running it. The error message you mentioned in another posting is just the text to lead the user to report a bug and is not the actual error message. In the workbench folder there's a log subfolder. See what wb.log contains. Maybe that gives us a hint. Attach the log to your bug report so we can take a look (you can do this a private attachment). What is the number of the report you created?
