Re: Newbie question

Thanks Stewart. Yes I got what the actual problem is and I regret that the documentation is not yet up to date. However, I wonder why it is such a problem to get beyond the first (very few) steps that differ between the versions. Actually only the home screen has changed. All you have to do is to create a connection (if you haven't done that), which is no different than before, and open that connection. Then you expand the schema tree on the left hand side to find your table. Right click on the table node and execute "Select Rows - LIMIT 1000". Voilá, there's the result grid with the data. Not really more than clicking "Edit Table Data" on the old home screen, selecting a connection and a table in the dialog.

But maybe there's something else I haven't seen that make it especially hard to follow the tutorials. Why don't you ask a question here like: "How do I get from step b to c?". I'm happy to give you the few steps that work in the new version here and after a while you will see how easy it is actually.

Best regards,

Mike
