Illegible character on Workbench

Dear all,
I have installed Mysql and Workbench on Linux, everything was fine but now the Workbench's interface is showed with illegible characters as squares. I went to a Workbench data modeling and all tables names and columns are showed as squares as well.
I understand that is a charset configuration buy I don't know how to fix it.
