Hi,

what you see is the result of a Python problem (all this stuff is implemented in Python and if something with the setup on startup of WB is wrong you loose a lot of functionality). Open the log file (see Help menu) and look for Python errors.

If you can solve them yourself you can easily get back a working WB. Otherwise file a bug report with the details from the log.
