Import from Excel

Hi All,

Something basic but I am struggling.

I have just downloaded Workbench 6.2 CE and mysql server 5.6. I am trying to import roughly 500K row from excel using the excel add-in (if there are other options please let me know).

Once I select all the data and select the 'Export Excel Data to New Table' there is the several options to do with column formatting. I have left all if these to default and when run the import only a very small subset of the data actually imports to a new table.

Whilst doing a bit of digging around I played around with the advanced options and it seems that the number of rows i specify in the 'Use the first....' is the number of row being imported into the table. Even if take this out it doesnt import more than 100 rows.

Help!

Thanks
