In response to your question, I don't see the server's hex fingerprint. Rather, the process goes as shown below.

When I first attempt to connect to the server, the first popup requests my password with the following:
Please enter password for the following service:
Service: ssh@192.168.1.215:3306
User: dybalskig
Password: *********
I enter the password (User id is already stored) and click OK.

In a few seconds this is followed by:
Could not connect the SSH Tunnel
Authentication error, unhandled exception caught in
tunnel manager, please refer to the logs for details
Retry or Cancel
If I click Cancel, the popups end. If I click retry, the first popup appears.

Here is dumb question. Is there a different password required for the MySQL server than to log into Linux using Putty?
