During the installation using mysql-installer-community-5.5.27.1.msi on Windows Server 2008 R2 64bit.
The process comes to a complete halt at the configuration portion. Error cannot configure the instance.
I tried again and noticed the "Run Windows Service As" had changed to Custom User.
I said okay, I put in the information for A account with admin rights.
The installer pops up a little error saying cant validate the username and password. Now I am completely confused, I know the account information is correct. So I switched it back to Standard System Account clicked the next button and again "Configuration Failed Check details for more information."
