Re: Workbench in Win 7 doesn´t start
To perform a force complete removal of MySQL Workbench, open Control Panel, sort by category, and under Programs click uninstall. Select and uninstall MySQL Workbench.
Look for any file leftover and delete it from the hardrive. To do so
Open a Run window and type %AppData%
and delete anything nested under the %appdata%\MySQL folder.
Open the following folders and delete anything related to MySQL Workbench:
C:\Program Files
C:\Program Files (x86) [in case your OS is an x64 version]
C:\ProgramData
If you face any problem to delete a file inside the above mentioned locations, continue with the next files and reboot.
Re-try deleting the files that couldn't be deleted on the first attempt.
Once you have cleaned your computer of any MySQL Workbench versions you can try re-installing it from the Universal Windows Installer with the 'Add/Modify Products and Features' option.
