MySQL Notifier - can't stop or restart MySQL

Hi,

I've just installed MySQL 5.6.21 via the Windows MSI Installer onto Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit,

However, I can't stop or restart the MySQL service via the Notifier tray icon shortcut menu.

The error is:

The service MySQL56 failed the most recent status change request with the message
The service mysql56 was not found in the Windows Services
If problem persists, please restart MySQL Notifier.

I've tried reinstalling MySQL Notifier 1.1.6, but this doesn't fix. The service can be restarted OK from the Windows services.msc console.

I'm wondering if it's something to do with case sensitivity re: the Windows service name, as the service is named MySQL56 in services.msc, and the error above states "The service mysql56 was not found".

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
