Probably some files were corrupted after your update

try to uninstall all products including the same Installer, you will find it in the programs and features control panel

also be sure there is no folder and files under %programData%\MySQL\

onced you do this download a latest msi bundle from http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/windows/installer/
