MySQL V5.7 Windows server 2008
Hi,
I am having extreme difficulty installing v5.7 on my Win 2008 R2 Server:
1) The workbench won't install:
The operating system is not adequate for running MySQL Workbench 6.2 CE. You need Windows 7 or newer and .Net 4.0 Client Profile installed (.NET 4 IS installed)
2) Service won't start:
Error 1053 (timeout) and [sometimes] error message re TryAcquireSRWLockExclusive could not be located in Kernel32
I have also tried installing V5.6 which was happily running for several years without problems...
Any ideas?
