Thanks for writing in our forums!

Judging by the description of the problem I would say that table you can't import is very big or for some other reason it exceeds the default time set for a query execution.

If you are using the latest version you will see there is an "Options" button in the Welcome Panel (the panel where you can see the connections), clicling it will display a global options window where you can increase the query execution timeout.

Please try that, if that does not fix your problem then please raise a bug in bugs.mysql.com with all the steps to reproduce your problem, you may need to supply a SQL script to recreate your specific scenario.
